The second one made me cry. “I told him someday she’d be alright.” That phrase echoes throughout the book. Young Tess in the beginning needing to feel like she’s alright. Older Tess (until this particular point) trying to convince herself that Rachel is alright. It’s how she comforts her crying infant nephew. I hadn’t noticed it until I read the book the second time.

Yep, that is kind of a refrain. I have to admit, this is the favorite one of the trailers I’ve made so far (if I’m allowed to say so). It looks much clearer when I watch it directly on my media player than it does on YouTube, though.
